Loch Torridon from Ardheslaig

Ardheslaig is a sheltered inlet and a cluster of houses before the coast
road to Applecross begins. Walking over the hill and looking back
the way we had come was particularly rewarding.
In wild, cyclonic weather
the drama of Loch Torridon, where so many mountains meet
the sea, made for some memorable moments.
